Our target audience basically is anyone responsible for sales of any product or service over the phone. Building upon basic communication skills, listening and questioning techniques, also being able to build a rapport with the client/customer with whom you are speaking to. We use a combination theory and hands-on role play, and the second part of the course is using a wireless phone coach system.

Being able to answer a phone doesn't necessarily make you suitable for telesales, being able to argue does not mean you can Negotiate, but with training these skills can be learn't and applied in the best manner to suit the task. By the end of our 2 day course we expect that any participant would be able to demonstrate the understanding of the basics of the sasles process - Produce a personal action plan to help develop key skills and improve current performance. Unfortunately telesales and cold calling can seem a thankless task, Being able to deal with irate customers, people who are generally irritated by cold-calls or sales calls. It takes a strong character to cope with objections and rejections, and a person who does not takes comments personally. The art is to introduce yourself and get your pitch across in the first few moments of the call capturing your audience. Once captured you have to then keep them a nd keep them interested in your product or service without being too pushy but also maintaining a level of dominance over the call to keep it heading in the right direction, then selling and finalising the call being polite and courteous throughout.

Tones of voice can influence the call, build a rapport therefore paving the way for future communication. Finding your telephone manner is all important too, being able to deliver facts and information clearly and concisely with confidence is invaluable, maaners cost nothing and being courteous and polite at all times even under pressure and under fire is a skill in itself.
